 At Barton Moss, we wear our school uniform as a badge of pride and respect which creates an important identity for our school and in our community.

 Nursery/Reception

  • Plain light grey standard school trouser (not leggings)/ light grey skirt/ pinafore. ESSENTIAL
  • Navy blue V-necked sweatshirt or cardigan- with school logo (can be purchased from Whittakers, Swinton, M27 4AA. OPTIONAL
  • Navy blue V-necked sweatshirt or cardigan – no school logo(can be purchased from local supermarkets) ESSENTIAL
  • Pale Blue polo shirt (can be purchased from local supermarkets) -no school logo. ESSENTIAL
  • Plain grey socks or tights. ESSENTIAL
  • Plain black shoes or plain black trainers – no ankle, long, high heeled or wellington boots. ESSENTIAL
  • Summer – light grey standard school shorts/ checked red dress (white socks with summer dresses only) OPTIONAL

Year 1 - Year 6

 Accessories

  • Plain school colours (plain blue/grey/white) simple, small hairbands, bows and clips.
  • Watches are allowed in KS2 only
  • Simple small stud earrings - other jewellery is not allowed in school due to safety.
  • No nail varnish, make up or tattoos.
  • Haircuts with tram lines are not allowed in school.
  • Y5 and Y6 may bring mobile phones, but these must be handed to a teacher on arrival. School takes no responsibility for mobile phones.

PE

Nursery – Year 6

  • Plain black shorts. ESSENTIAL
  • Plain t-shirt in red (No Logos) ESSENTIAL
  • Black pumps (Velcro fastening for Nursery & Reception) ESSENTIAL
  • Black trainers (for outside) (Velcro fastening for Nursery & Reception) ESSENTIAL
  • Plain dark tracksuits may be worn outside in cold weather. OPTIONAL

School sweatshirts & Bookbags can be purchased from Whittakers on Chorley Road, Swinton. M27 4AA

Ties can be purchased on Parentpay and collected from the office.
